Laser Hair Removal
Laser Hair Removal for women/men is the most effective method of removing unwanted hair. The question is why continue to wax and shave when you can have a smooth and silky body with a course of Laser Hair Removal.
We use only the most advanced technology available, using what’s called “medical-grade laser” which means we can guarantee successful results. A course of six treatments is generally recommended but you will notice a significant difference after just two or three sessions. We are the only clinic in the North East to boast a Candela Gentlease.
Blond, grey or white hairs are not suitable. Call us today on 042 969 2646 / 087 386 8346 for a free Laser Hair Removal Consultation and Patch Test. Courses payable over 3 sessions.
Is Laser hair removal safe?
Laser hair removal is a quick, safe and painless procedure. Laser hair removal safety is clinically tested and FDA approved. This type of treatment has undergone comprehensive testing and trails in order to ensure that this treatment is effective while ensuring the highest level of patient safety at all times.
At Touch and Glow , we take our client safety seriously. We pride ourselves in ensuring that we have the most professional, highly trained staff in the field. With a proven track record of client satisfaction, we work hard to constantly upskill our staff and in the most up to date techniques in the industry. All of our lasers are medical grade and therefore ensure the highest level of safety while also giving clients the best results possible.
Prior to the beginning of your treatment, we offer all clients a free consultation. During this consultation our Laser therapists will conduct a skin analysis and patch test. During this analysis we will assess the best course of treatment for our client. After the patch test a 3 day wait period is required in order to ensure the skin is safe and the patch test is clear.
How Long Does a Treatment Last?
This procedure has been proven to have incredible, lasting results after only 6-8 treatments. The results depend on a variety of factors such as; how dense, thick and course the hair is. These factors vary from person to person. When you have your initial consultation with your laser therapist they will be able to indicate what results to expect over the course of treatment.
You will need a course of treatment in order to ensure that the laser attaches to all hair in the ’growth’ phase or Anagen. Depending on the level of regrowth, you can expect to have a wait time of 4-6 weeks between sessions. For some people, after a full course of treatment maintenance will be required 1-2 a year. While others find, the hair simply never grows back again, each client is different.
How does Laser Hair Removal work?
Laser hair removal is a simple, painless and incredibly effective procedure. Laser hair removal works by using the light from a medical grade laser, to target and heat the hair follicle, destroying interconnectors which connect the hair to the blood supply. This destroys hair at the root, in order to prevent regrowth. As the hair is targeted directly there is no damage to the surrounding tissue.
What are its effects?
After the procedure your skin will normally be sensitive for 48 hours; during this time it is recommended that you avoid; hot showers, baths, saunas, swimming and direct sunlight or sunbeds. It is also recommended that you refrain from using perfumed products or creams.
You should wear loose comfortable clothing. For example if you have had a leg treatments avoid any clothing, such as skinny jeans which causes friction with your skin. It is also normal to experience; blemishes, red marks and itching.
These effects will disappear completely after 2-3 days. If you still have questions on how does laser hair removal work or its side effects please get in touch with us at any time.
